The gist:

Anime North was fun. It was my first time crossplaying, so that was new. The whole weekend went fairly smoothly, and my mom made the whole trip really enjoyable. Her friend went along with her, so she went shopping, to the casino, out to a few bars, etc, while my friend Ashley and I ran around the con. We met for dinner and whatnot and our hotel suite was lovely.


I did not take a lot of photos during the con, mainly because I was blind as a bat for a fair amount of the time.


I had so much fun crossplaying as Bel though. He is secretly popular. My mom was asking me why I wanted to dress as a guy (as we waited for an elevator in our hotel) when the doors opened and a bunch of girls began shrieking.
